Strength-Based Parenting is a programme developed by members of the Supporting Families team.
The sessions have been designed to support parents of children with possible ND (Neuro-Diverse) needs. Perhaps your child has been referred to the Lighthouse for a Paediatric assessment or maybe they have already received their diagnosis?
Either way, the course will help you to understand your child’s varied and complex behaviours and the best ways to respond to them.
Sessions take place on a Wednesday mornings 10am to 12 noon, at the Civic Centre for 5 weeks (term time). The next programme starts on 2 October. It can be accessed by referral only.
